Dr. Tawanda Bostic

image554

" Life is about going, even when you feel like stopping." -Dr. Tawanda Bostic

Dr. Tawanda Bostic has been in the healthcare industry over 20 years. Dually board certified as both a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Bostic uses her expertise to help others lead healthier lives, specifically through mental health coaching. Her diverse background includes inpatient, outpatient, and correctional medicine. Her desire to help others is what called her to create a free platform to help others stuggling with daily life issues.  She recognizes that for some, without this service,  would not be able to receive  any form of mental health treatment.  Her compassioante, straightforward, but laid back approach is why people love talking to her.  " I can be on a plane and people willl tell me their entire life story, and I'm ok with that. People open up to me because they feel safe and You But Better is a place where people can feel safe to be who they are. They don't have to pretend. Everybody have problems and sometimes people  just need someone to help them navigate those problems or they just need to vent to get to the other side ok. It's ok to ask for help, and it's ok to need help. It's called being human. And the best part is knowing that what is said won't go anywhere."

Dr. Bostic specializes in helping those suffering from the followinng mental health conditions:  Anxiety,  Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, PTSD, and many other mental health conditions.

She also helps those suffering from the following medical conditions who may need support: Coronavirus, Hypertension, Diabetes, Thyroid Disease, Sexually Transmitted Infections(STIs), Cancer, Multiple, Sclerosis, Lupus, Heart Disease, and other physical health conditions affecting your mental health.

In her spare time, Dr. Bostic enjoys traveling, good food, and cuddling up on the couch to a good movie or a book.
